Does anyone know of a good endo at the RVI Newcastle?

Hi. My GP has suggested I see an endo because my Levo has been reduced to 100mcgs from 150 and I've now got burning sensations on my legs and the whole of my arms, legs and face are tingling. I have had numbness in my feet and hands for 3 years after chemo but not the intense tingling I have now.

I would prefer to go to the RVI Newcastle as I'm already going there for breast cancer follow-ups and I had a thyroidectomy there 10 years ago.

Can anyone recommend an endo there or if not then in Northumberland/Newcasle/Durham area?

Why was your dose of meds reduced? Do you also have a copy of your blood test results complete with the ranges as it would help someone to answer?

Try this link to the hosp section on this site - it seems this hosp has mixed reviews, some say excellent and some are not so keen. Maybe you might want to PM the writer of the last comment and ask her what "team" she saw.

I'm also looking for a good endo in Newcastle Upon Tyne as I was a patient of Dr Skinner.
