I have been an IBS sufferer for many years now, having attacks once or twice a year. The attacks last at least 6 weeks and the latest one for over 8 weeks. I dread to think that every time I have an attack, it will last longer than the last one. I suffer from stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea. With the most recent one, I also vomited several times. All of my blood tests were normal except for a slight infection and inflammation in my intestines. I would appreciate hearing how others have handled their attacks as well.
