Pain in.upper stomach

So I was diagnosed with ibs about 10 year ago then diagnosed with bile acid malabsorption just over 2 year ago stomach just constantly hurts in upper quarter yo the right by rib constantly at the doctors and all am getting is it's your ibs and bam overlapping each over take colesevelam and buscapan, now I don't think the buscapan does anything and I always think they is something more going on , and wat does it mean by overlapping any advice as am fed up with it all

a lot of sufferers get this, a lot of it is caused by wind pain which is why your doctor is saying buscapan. Try looking at diet, as foods high in fodmap (that ferment in gut) like onions, beans, garlic, all cause wind. Google fodmap foods and try to avoid or limit in diet. I love onion but it kills me.
