I have slow transit bowel and think I may have backed up bowels again. However I am back on the Laxido again which has worked quickly on low doses and doing good amounts but in a lot of pain but more distressingly endless wipe after going which is effecting me going out. Has anybody experienced this and could it be overflow and need a higher dose ?

Laxido
It could well be overflow. Perhaps you need a good clear out. Maybe a good dose of milk of magnesia. Not sure Laxido will help but we're all different. Hope resolved soon, I'm only too aware how distressing this can be.
Hi I suffer with constipation asi have bam and the colesevelam I take makes me constipation to the stage where it feels like I have a blockage I take laxido 2 a day over a few days thar seems to help but then I get busy and forget to take it so back to the constipation again it's a no win situation for me but the laxido is good wen it works yes it makes them sloppy and soft but would rather have the poop out of me the killing my stomache inside Hope this helps
Laxido is the worst i did a lot of research and saw a gastroenterologist and got him to put me on linaclotide game changer maybe worth a look,/ try.
I also have a VERY slow transit time. Basically caused by long term use of opioid analgesics ( severe back issues)
I take cosmocol and a senna nightly as the pain can be severe, with or without them.
To such an extent I can hardly eat for lower abdominal pain and nausea. But I’d rather not get constipated as have a large rectocele. I have to douche x3 daily or I just can’t go!
Theres no easy answer to all these problems!
Keep hydrated. Best wishes.
