Hemorroids
I sympathise.
Sometimes sitting on a flat ice pack helps. (The type of pack you get for joint pain from Boots or any other pharmacy)
Have you seen your GP? Depending on the grade (size) of haemorrhoid, you can have injections to shrink them. This helps, but they can come back. I've had these several times.
For larger haemorrhoids, there are other options. I had a haemorrhoidectomy last year. It was uncomfortable post surgery, but I am very pleased that I had it.
Sitz baths help with pain and swelling and are also recommended for use after surgery. I purchased mine from Amazon.
I had a huge one when I birthed my 10lb 10oz baby (27 years ago!) and ever since I feel there has been a weakness in that particular vein.
Last year I went to Malta and drank way too much Limoncello and my IBS decided to send everything including my stomach acid out of my bum!
I had a ‘bunch of grapes’ 🍇 hanging out and my bottom felt very burnt 🥵
All this to suggest cutting all alcohol out of your diet to see if it’s that that’s making you so sore?
Also the Dr can give you much more effective pile cream than you can buy over the counter.
Good luck 🤞
Hi Big Brother, very sorry to hear that, can I ask, when you say it is very sore to sit down, is that because your Hemorrhoids are prolapsed?, ie they have actually come outside your anus after a bowel movement or whatever and that is the reason you are sore when you sit down?
Hello, Over the years I have tried Anusol Suppositories and Germoids but the only thing I find works is a bag of frozen ice cubes held on the piles which shrinks them quickly until the next time. Keep in place 10 - 15 mins and this works every time for me, hope this helps you ?
