THD for hemorroids

Has anyone had a THD for hemorroids? I am worried I might have a lot of pain afterwards and possible incontinence. I am 73 and also have polymyalgia. Many thanks

I’ve just had banding done. The second time was very painful.

I had a large area banded last month and I wouldn't say it was painful.I felt a bit uncomfortable afterwards.

I was incontinent before the banding which has now vastly improved.

I am going for a check up next week to see if I need anymore which I will have if need be. I am 79

I have had banding done several times without pain, the worst thing is taking the laxatives and time waiting for the appointment to get it done.
