Pain and Laxido

Ive been taking Laxido for eight months now for recurring impactions and now down to one a day where I do a good BM most days but the last week started to get the most awful stomach pain and bloating which lasts all day . Has anybody else experienced this after taking this product for quite a while

My GP took me off Laxido for a while as it came to her attention that it can cause bloating and pain.

I have found laxido,or the generic macrogol,a great help with regulating bowels and have taken it for over 20 years in varying doses depending on my needs .Taking Buscopan helps to get rid of wind and bloating...you may also find peppermint capsules help .Macrogol and buscopan are both on prescription

personally I find all these laxatives only clear out partially the large bowel and Laxido and magnesium are known for causing cramping and gas. I did have some luck with Linaclotide but that quit working, so I have colonic irrigation weekly now. Much more effective and without side effects
