How long is a long time? Have you spoken to your doctor?

Been six months doctor says keep taking when constipated.

I think 6 months is not an issue. I am having to take anti-nausea drugs for the next 4 or 5 months and my GP has prescribed Movicol to combat the constipation, I asked if it was ok to take it over that period of time and he said absolutely....

3 or 4 a night seems a lot ? Don't you get bloating and wind I I do on just one at night.. I would try more but don't fancy the side effects it may produce 😮

Hi yes I’ve been taking laxido for awhile now due to increased pain, especially after I’ve eaten anything. I have to mix it with orange diluting juice though as they are vile to take normally.

I think cause I'm used to them I'm OK with 3 but would rather take them than not I'm now at the stage where I'm asking my gp for help as to why I need to take them & am pretty sure I have ibs but have had little help from medical professionals

I’ve been on laxido for 18 months and like you scared of taking it for so long . I spoke to the doctor and she assured me that it’s safe to take long term . Ifind that when I don’t take it then I don’t go or end up constipated . So I wouldn’t worry to much about taking them if they help .

Thank you for replying yes I too need to take them when constipated. my doctor says take them when I get constipated . They do do the job I take one in the morning and one at night I think I have a lazy slow bowel.
