I had a virtual CT scan on 2nd January. I was given intravenous buscopan and imaging fluid. Yesterday my eyes were watery and very slightly sore (they still are today). I was given an information sheet about going to A&E if I developed very red eyes and sight disturbance. My symptoms don’t match but I wonder what to do. I don’t fancy sitting in A&E for 4+ hours if there is no need. Any comments?

Runny eyes after virtual colonoscopy
I would ring NHS 111 for advice. I have always found them to be very good, so wish you luck.
Thanks, I did that in the end and they arranged a telephone consultation. My symptoms had improved slightly by the time they rang so no further follow up. I did end up though going to Specsavers today (as the runny eyes returned) which cost me almost £50 for an eye health check, drops and wipes. Blepharitis was the opticians diagnosis. I don’t have all the symptoms that match diagnosis but I will follow the advice.
Oh good, so at least you did get your eyes checked. It's a pity though that it cost £50. I went to get my ear cleaned at the audiologist the other day and that cost me too. But much better than the Doc's, as I was told they don't do that any more!
I would think it's best to follow advice the optician gave you even if all the symptoms don't quite fit. I hope it's better soon.
