Hi

Have you had your gallbladder tested?

Hi Plinkle. Have you tried drinking half a cup of boiled warm water. That has always helped me when I suffered with trapped wind. Hope you feel better soon.

I drink a mug of green tea and the cramps go away. Better than tablets 😊

Talk to your doctor about simethicone. It’s an over the counter medication that may help your symptoms.

Have you noted what you've eaten / drank when it occurs?

I take charcoal or peppermint tea for gas pains, if thats what it is. They aren't usually severe tho, i'd say sometimes quite painful but not severe... I've cut certain foods out like wheat, dairy, beef, pork, brocolli, onion, garlic and most fodmaps except beans, and that has stopped my gas completely. But it makes eating quite boring and im not sure low fodmap diet has been good for my bowels. Its been good for stopping reflux and gas and bloating but I suspect i'm celiac so. ...
