Trapped wind

Hi all can someone suggest something for trapped wind. I usually excercis e so my stomach does'nt really stick out much, but I just look pregnant. I am doing dairy free at the moment. I have IBS C which has improved slightly by eating prunes and more fibre. I have not seen a dietician yet. My appointment is in June. I have had a colonoscopy and have a tortuous colon. I have pain after I have been and feel as I have not finished. But I do use a stool that has been suggested to make it easier. I have'nt got diviculitus. I do peel apples and am careful what I eat. I did the fod map diet which made it worse! I tried drinking fennel and ginger tea. Today I purchased peppermint tea.

PLease help,

Get some nice moisturising cream put it on your tummy and place your hand on the right side under your ribs then massage gently to the left down around back up in clockwise circular movements for about 5/10 mins it's very good to get rid of trapped wind

Also massaging under your foot right in the middle

Hope this helps 🤗

I see someone else has recommended yoga it's brilliant that's where I learnt about the tummy massage

We also used to lie on our backs and hug our legs over our tummies and gently rock side to side that always helped

I agree about the peppermint tea green tea too I find helps

All the very best people are very kind on here and it's lovely to be able to "talk" 🤗

Hi,

I have very similar symptoms to yourself and can very much sympathize.

I have found peppermint tea helpful as well as the gel capsule version of Wind-eze.

The Moroccan loose leaf mint tea is more effective.

You could also try a yoga pose that I do. Here's a link to the pose:

Do hope this helps.

Them i go every day now.

Try not to eat bread or to many carbs, they bloat and the yeast in bread expands and clogs up ur colon and gut ...
