Improvement of colon pain

Hello, my friends. I am Munzer from Sudan. I have suffered for five years from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, despite that anxiety, depression, fear, unemployment, and poor financial situation. I visited many doctors and took many medications, but to no avail. After all this, I finally decided. Sitting with myself even though I'm suffering so much and I've started dieting and eating some. Herbs such as mint, anise, St. John's wort, and chamomile I boil them together or separately and drink them as tea I have stopped drinking coffee and I am actually a convert to Islam I have set aside some time to read the Qur'an and pray in the last third of the night and it has helped me This is a lot I swear it feels great. I wish you a speedy recovery

Hello Munzir,

Those herbs should be very calming and good. I tried them except St John's Wort because it was summer time, and I heard St John's wort can make the skin sensitive to sunlight. But I should try it now because it's winter! I often have mint and camomile together in a tea, and anise is helpful too. Sometimes I have fennel tea also.

I also pray, and many a time that has caused a real sense of peace within me. Especially if I feel scared or anxious when lying in bed at night. It happened last night. I felt my tummy uncomfortable, and it started making me anxious.

Good luck, and hope you will return to good health soon.

Hello dear Luisa Of course I feel much better. Herbs are very useful, but you also have to take medical treatment, as this increases the chances of improvement, and we forgot to mention exercise. Yoga helps you get rid of anxiety. from my hand. So now I don't need sleeping pills and get addicted to them. I'm cool now too. Say to yourself that nothing will happen to you that is on your mind. If something was really going to happen, it would have happened the previous times. By this you have despised those cursed thoughts, and with time this will gradually disappear. Be well, my dear Louisa

Hello Munzir, welcome to the group. I am so pleased that you have found your own way to help your situation. It is often trial and error to find what works for you. Many of us have had to stop drinking coffee. I enjoy a herbal tea now and again, it is very soothing, especially peppermint.
