I am shortly going in to hospital to have a prolapsed pile possibly removed,it is more probable that it is what my consultant will do as the pile is large and is protruding outside the anus.
As it is it causes all sorts of problems which are obvious and no need to describe.
I would welcome any comments if you have experienced the same,
Thank you
Margaret.

Hi hun i had it done a few time you really don't feel anything laid on the bed side ways and they do their bit can't quite remember what they did but do remember it being painless try not to worry .take care stay safe covid still out there.xx
I had the banding done as I have a prolapse and I found it to be a really uncomfortable procedure. Not painful but it left me feeling shocky and nauseous for the rest of the day.
Anyway long story short, the banding only works for about 3 months in my case and I eventually found a supplement called Rutin which is made from sunflower seeds. And it has worked wonders on my prolapse and any discomfort arising from it, piles or itching. Needs to be taken during food once a day.
