Hi Bassem1979. Sorry your in pain. If your piles are external and are hard lumps they could be thrombosis. They are very painful and you should mention to your gp. As for the narrow stools I get them sometimes not all the time. I wish you well.
Sorry I also should have mentioned thrombos piles are not life threatening just very painful.
Hi Bassem1979 I had 2 very large internal prolapsed piles. They were not painfull but bled a lot (you can imagine my thoughts about rectal bleeding , anxiety was through the roof). Had them removed under a general in Sept last year ,feel much better now and no thinning or restriction. They did cause difficulty when having a BM with similar results to yourself.Guess you should visit your GP , in the meantime Anusol should give you some relief.I have IBS-C with some motility issues, for the past 10 years and the Surgeon said the piles were due to straining. So I now take it easy and use poo softners.
I read your past posts and would say we both have very similar problems/symptoms. I just get so frustrated that IBS is not a stable conditions which makes it hard to establish the root cause plus the medics can not offer a complete solution either.
I wish you well with your IBS journey.
Stay safe
Thank you Am going to contact the GP Monday not just with regards to my piles but am having a lot of overflow and not any proper bowel movements. When I do have a bowel movement it either narrow or over flow and am starting to really panic.
On my left side of my abdo I also get a lot of gut sounds like popping noise or wind breaking in side my abdo.
Am getting more and more worried.
Am taking Laxido x2 daily but like I said it’s just over flow no solid bowel movement.
Hi Bassem1979 I have similar experience, thin stools which has happened over 18 months or so, I have brought it up with my GP but little or no concern on their part. I am currently taking a daily dose of Laxido (1 sachet plus 6 grams a day) and so far has resulted in a movement, of sorts each day.
I have a pile -cross between external and internal , I use germoloids ( either daily or every other day as required) and if nothing else it seems to prevent the condition for worsening.
I hope you soon find something that works for you.
Best wishes.
I have similar and take Cosmacol to help them through.
Hi Am taking that but lemon and lime but I feel am having loads of over flow. Am unsure if should carry on with it ? I ve been taking 2 a day for last 3 days been going to the toilet but it’s just water and am not having a proper bowel movement. How is it making you feel are you having normal bowel movements.
Yeh, I take two doses a day, after meals and before going to bed but I seem to be stable at the moment but that could change to a watery explosion at any time which is the nature of this IBS.
I have been onLaxido for some time and have varied the dose as necessary with the aim of producing a an acceptable stool, not too soft not too hard. Currently, fingers crossed, I am having some success. Current dose per day is 1 sachet plus 6grams from another sachet (each sachets weighs 15 Grammes1 gramme for the sachet and 14 Grammes of Laxido. I use kitchen scales to measure out the extra quantity.
Thank you for the advice
