Using fybogel.: Hi, does anyone use fybogel for... - IBS Network
Using fybogel.
I'm on docusate, and quite happy with it. I don't, but believe a lot of people in this group take Fybogel.
I take docusate every once in a while when my regular laxative isn't enough can't comment on the fybogel sorry.
I have been using docusate for years. And not real impressed with it either. Recently discovered Dulcolax soft chews which is magnesium hydroxide, and they work very well. Only on an as needed basis, not regularly.
Trie Fybogel for a week and it seemed to make me less comfortable. Started Dulco-ease (ducosate) two days ago, which is about how long it takes to kick in and not sure it was that but last night was all bubbly and uncomfortable but unable to relieve. I'm looking for something that is safe for long term and which generally eases the flow.
