The last few weeks I have been finding myself struggling with pain that I thought was a flare up however I am not so sure now.
Does anyone else find that they have a very painful bladder (like being stabbed!) and or painful in the ovary area? Not TMI but i do not have periods and this is something I have not experienced before. It’s been getting so painful that I am feeling very faint, sweating and crying out in pain when it happens. Sometimes a BM helps this but other times it could be when I need to empty my bladder.
I have had many UTI’s and kidney stones / infections in the past so have kinda ruled that out.
I am / have been trying to speak to my GP but no luck at the moment!

You should see your gp as soon as possible. If you cannot arrange this I would see a urologist or a gastroenterologist very soon. This may all be nothing, but you are in sufficient discomfort to check it out on a priority basis.
Definitely keep trying to talk to your doctor. It's awful what's going on in the health service right now. It's annoying me right royally, the stories I am hearing from other people!
But don't give up. They ought to maybe send you for an ultrasound., check your "lady parts" as well as other things.
If it's any consolation I get a dragging feeling where my left ovary should be. I get wind moving there which pops up like a lump, then moves along like some alien, till it disappears again. I get discomfort on some evenings after dinner, right in that spot, and sometimes crampy pains from trapped wind there. But it's not the ovary. I know because I had that ovary & fallopian tube taken out 21 years ago.
Bad flares CAN last for weeks, or off and on for weeks. But it's usually a shorter time than that for a bad flare.
Are you in the UK? Most GP practices have a website now, where you can message them. I find that this tends to get a quicker response than trying to call in or sitting in phone queues. Always best to discuss anything you are concerned about with a GP. If still no luck and you are feeling terrible, call the 111 service. They can get GPs to call you.
I hope you can see a doc, soon. I have frequent pain in lower right quadrant of abdomen- just above ovary. I think it is ileocecal valve dysfunction (You Tube has massage tech that sometimes relieve it- sometimes not). A CT scan shows no abnormality - however- there IS one- because the massage relieves it to some degree. Check out You Tube and “scholarly articles on via Google” til you get to doc. (General areas of appendix liver etc so do see a doc). Good luck . Beh
The trouble with us women is that all our bits are in one place🤔agree with b1b1b1 GP as soon as poss as these are new symptoms and need looking into. 🍀
Hi! Just to echo what others have said, but I would really recommend going back to your GP, and even getting a referral to a gynaecologist. If your nearly passing out from the pain then this isn’t normal and you need further investigations. Gastro/bladder symptoms can overlap with many conditions. I have endometriosis, but also have IBS (diagnosed with the IBS first) and apparently that is pretty common with endo gals!
thank you for all your help. I am no closer to an answer yet but progress has been made (a UTI has currently taken me out since saturday) so have had to postpone the booked blood tests and am awaiting ultrasounds to see if this is connected to the original issue.
I am finding myself feeling very fed up of feeling poorly at the moment.
