That's the wonderful thing about IBS, you think you've got it covered and it throws another curveball to try to stump you.( I know they're different ball game but.... If IBS can throw a snide one, so can I).
Yes this is exactly how I feel at the moment, I get on top of it and then all of a sudden another new symptom appears! Very frustrating and worrying! I’ve just completely changed my career as well and it involves a few months training and assessments and I’m just worried that my IBS is going to disrupt the training not allowing me to concentrate - I guess take it day by day is all you can do.
Those are the symptoms that led to my return to the GP after having issues for years. It was always at the left hand side and I sounded like a broken central heating system. The pain was such that I would be sat on the loo with fingernails digging into each hand. I would go cold then hot. So please be assured you are not going mad! I have found that my IBS differs depending on what has triggered it and I can now identify a stress related episode from food related episode
Hello, yes this is a common site for pain, around the splenic bend of the colon. Severe colon pain can make you faint, dizziness is somewhere en route to that.
Hi splenic bend of colon. Is that the upper left side of abdomen just below the ribs? I'm having a panic attack because I'm having this on and off pain in that area for 2 weeks already. Is this something serious? My bowel movement is irregular and I have external hemorrhoids too. Any known treatment for this?
