I had a colonoscopy at 37 years old and I had several polyps that were non cancerous. He recommended I see him again in 10 years. I am 40 now, and have been having lots of stomach issues. I also have found a little blood in stool. My question is, is it normal to have polyps at my age? I’m nervous that I’m something isn’t right, I don’t really know anyone my age to have polyps. And nervous to have blood now.

Are colon polyps normal?
Morning, I would say if anything is worrying you it's worth a mention to the GP. I'm not a Dr myself but I think you can get polyps any age and they are like an internal skin tag but some can become bothersome and cause a bit of bleeding. I think it's always best to check things over rather than letting yourself stress or Google everything. All the best.
I have my colonoscopy this year n I’m 41 this year, found 3 polyps n test done n everything clear, why I go for colonoscopy because I have blood while poop n I’m scare n went for colonoscopy. During that period, blood comes and goes and I’m worried, so I went for mri, ct scan and tumor marker and everything good. It’s only these few months blood stop, finger cross butttttt stomach like you having issues, I also feel unfinished business after a BM. No answer for my bleeding previously as well and now this feeling, I too don’t know what to do.
So what kind of stomach issue you having besides blood in stool now
I’m kind of confused by your post. You had a colonoscopy and it was clear, or you had a colonoscopy and you had polyps?
