Awful wind in the evening

Hi all, my belly cramps have been far better but my awful foul smelling wind in the evening is just not going away. I can be find all day but it’s as though I can’t empty my bowel properly and this big backlog of wind gets released when I relax at home, any tips please?

Smelly wind can be caused by red meat consumption.

Have you seen a doctor or been diagnosed with IBS? Do you have constipation dominant IBS (IBS-C), if so, I have some tips for that.

Not diagnosed but I definitely have it 😂 I don’t eat enough red meat for it to be that but thank you

My IBS is generally always worse in the evening, including wind. I'm sorry, I haven't any useful suggestions - other than to try to relax and let as much of it as possible pass.

Hi there is it because of eating dairy ? Lactose intolerance causes foul wind I’ve put mine down to this lol x you could try charcoal tablets ? X

I’ve been taking charcoal for about a year but that’s a good idea I might cut it out! Thank you 😊
