Hi I’m looking to see if anyone can advise or recommend whether it better too take buscopan or mebevrin instead it mainly for the cramp but bloating the doc did suggest buscopan but I take amatrytline and it does say that buscopan taken with this can cause side effects so I’m not sure how has anybody where had this same problem thanks

Everyone is different. All I can say is until you've tried either you won't know what works best for you or if it works at all. Buscapan was my first go to but it did nothing for me personally

Buscupan did nothing for me but plain old paracetamols for the cramp as well as a hot water bottle.

Same as you, just paracetamol and hot water bottle. I know my triggers and when I get a flare up take my self off to bed. Normally the next day I have bad cramps but I'll push through till even g then up to rest with hot water bottle. Day 3 I'm normally 100%.

It really does work well and so much cheaper.

Try a cup of ginger tea or a banana, they work for me.
