Probiotics shouldn't have interactions with buscopan.

Oh dear! I didn't know this. Can you tell why. I often take them together. My Doc didn't mention this when he prescribed them

If you re-read - there are no issues with taking them together. i.e. probiotics don't have bad interactions with buscopan.

I take yakult every day, and only take buscopan when pain is bad. I get abnormal amount of wind. I am IBSC coeliac disease and BAM. On fobmap diet. Afraid to reintroduced any foods.

I think you should be getting advice from a dietician if you're on a FODMAP diet, because you definitely want to try to reintroduce foods and the dietician should be able to advise on the ones least likely to cause problems, given your underlying health issues.

You would think so, but my next appointment with a dietician is not until February. She said you must be well for at least 2 days before trying something new. So at that rate I will never get around to it. I have found a few things I can tolerate. Eg onions! but still can't eat them till I finished a trial of all the foods.

Far be it from me to argue with a qualified dietician, but I think s/he should have said not to try anything new if the previous reintroduced food made you feel worse in a couple of days (might take that time to register an intolerance). If you still have problems during a FODMAP diet, then it can’t be a simple case of being either well or ill, it must be a comparative condition (ie, a degree of unwellness). Other than gluten, which you have mentioned, it might be that you are not especially intolerant of FODMAPs because, presumably, coeliac and BAM could well be causing problems anyway. Always difficult to untangle the different possible causations for a problem, which is why it’s generally best to approach it one thing at a time (though I’m not sure why onions can’t be reintroduced earlier, particularly if they’re not causing problems - and you’ve got to eat something!)

I think I didn't make myself clear. When I said I have to be well for more than 2 days before trying a new food. I was not unwell from a previous attempt. As you said. It must be something else going on.
