Does anyone experience stomach pain when in a car? The pain is such that every minor bump in the road can be felt in the stomach. I am trying to work out if this is IBS or something else. The GP is clueless. It is not my appendix as it is ot in that area.

Pain whilst travelling
I get alot of pain in the car but im pretty sure mines has mostly been down to anxiety causing the pain although cant be 100% on that one but i did used to suffer from panic attacks which caused alot of pain so who knows 🤷♀️
Thank you. I really am not sure. It’s so difficult to tell isn’t it?
It is extremely difficult. For me it’s been even more so because after coming to terms with one diagnosis and getting that under control i get another to deal with its just one after another with me🙈
Not exactly, but sort of. When I had IBS, I got travel sick very easily - not to the point of nausea, but seriously uncomfortable in my digestive parts. It's noticeably better since the IBS cleared up, though I am still quite sensitive to every bump and turn in the road, finding them uncomfortable. I believe the cause of my IBS to have been the TMJD, which is still affecting me though not as badly as it was, and think that's why the jiggling is still uncomfortable. I'm a bit surprised more people haven't said yes to this, I'd have thought when one's gut is already uncomfortable, or stretched hard because of gas and it's distorting one's internal architecture, that jiggling from the car would make it hurt worse in many cases.
Thank you for responding. Yes I am surprised but maybe people do not feel it quite so much after all, I am not sure. Will see if there are any more response. Thanks again.
