Felt Incomplete bowel: Hello, I had went thru... - IBS Network
Felt Incomplete bowel
I think you are saying that you are having bowel movements, but you feel that not all of it comes out? Are the bowel movements that you have 'normal' otherwise i.e. going 1-3 times a day without having to run to the loo or up to every 3 days? Having incomplete bowel movements is part of IBS. I have them regularly. As long as I am not getting completely blocked up so I end up having overflow diarrhea and I am still managing to achieve a reasonable BM, I am trying not to stress about it too much. I'd prefer to have a complete evacuation every day, but as long as this doesn't affect my day to day activities then so be it.
But don’t you find the feeling of incomplete bowel movements to be funny?
Hi! Same here, it’s embarrassing but I’ve struggled for years with this issue, tried all different diets, bran etc. But its really incomplete bowel movements and if I’m not emptied I’m not going feel comfortable or have a good day; no appetite etc. The doc recommended anal mynometry testing and pelvic floor therapy.
Yup but other than this , do u have other issue, sometimes I have blood in stools as well
I hear your pain. I had blood in stool years ago then colonoscopy... do you have a gastroenterologist you can make an appointment with and/or access to healthcare?
Yes I did went for colonoscopy, polyps removed and biopsy done, MRI on my rectum, endoscopy, blood test for tumor marker and calprotectin test. All fine so I really doesn’t know where does the blood comes from
Well that’s good that you’ve had all your tests... you could still report it to your doc... could it be bleeding hemorrhoids? Also did your doctor recommend anal mynometry?
Nope my doc does not recommend that
