Using Alflorex

I have been using alflorex since Monday and I noticed such a difference straight away. I could eat anything I wanted and had no pain or loose stools. However, I didn’t know that you had to take them at the same time each day. I was off work today so I didn’t take them till late morning compared to taking them at 7 every other day. Today I have felt stomach pain and diarrhoea wondering if I could get back to my old routine but I know I will be off for maybe a month with this virus and I know I won’t wake up early everyday. Feel like I’ve ruined everything and am back to square one

I have been taking it for nearly a month. It’s marvellous. I take it at night and it works out well for me.

I'm wondering why you are taking them every other day rather than every day? Don't worry about undoing anything. You have been very lucky to get symptom relief in such a short space of time! For some people it can take 6 weeks. I take mine before breakfast at roughly the same time each day. I got relief fairly quickly too - one of my issues was pain and most days I am now pain free. I have been able introduce so many foods into my diet which I haven't eaten in years. Keep going - you will get back on track again.

I have been taking it f3 months now and initially it took a while to work, I really do feel it has made a difference. I still have issues with IBS d but even the episodes are shorter and I can usually identify the trigger food or anxiety.
