Getting to the bottom of my ibs, (no pun intented)

So not too long ago I went to another clinic to get food sensitivity tests, full body report tests ect... Health assessments are carried out by a machine called the asyra screening, using bio feedback.

Long story short these are some of the results:

Low levels of hydrochloric acid (hcl) helps to break down, digest food. I suffer with a lot of acid reflux as a result of low hcl levels. Been told very common in people with ibs.

Low short chain fatty acids.

Stressed: invertase, the enzyme to break down and digest sugars. Stressed meaning the enzyme is not able to function as it should but not diminished.

Low levels of vitamin b12, also common in people with ibs.

Low levels of lactobacillus acidophilus.

Low levels of protease enzyme, the break down of proteins.

Also did a separate test what's called a spit test. Leaving a glass of water over night, once woken up in the morning spit into the glass of water leaving it for 10-20 mins. String like, cloudy saliva indicate presence of candida. My results slight candida presence, but not too much of a problem at the moment untill I go back for update.

Few food sensitivities:

Carrots, milk, eggs, processed foods, avocado ect...

Food supplements:

Hcl and protease, digestive support

Enzyme complex, digestive support

Acidophilus, bacteria supplement

First step: Started taking supplements hopefully see results with right diet after 1 months supply, will be going back to clinic after 1 month for update and anything else that needs to be sorted.

I do suffer with anxiety which does not help, as I believe I have suffered with anxiety for years and years, but only developed ibs within the last 2 years, after bad lifestyle choices (drinking, drugs ect...) but all didn't help.

My ibs I believe is such an umbrella term, now that I have truly found the root cause. As ibs is call 'IRRITABLE' Bowel Syndrome, because something is 'IRRITATING' the bowel, gut whatever that may be.

I hope this has given an insight to a few cause of ibs, especially the hydrochloric acid, which is an essential part of the digestive system, as mentioned before it helps to break down and digest food, sterilises the food, kills bad bacteria, low levels can cause disruption and chaos.
