What are the symptoms of ibs I did research online but I wanted to know from actual people to see if I have it thanks

Swollen tummy after certain foods, toilet issues one minute can be an issue going then next time cannot stop going, wind, pain in stomach, nausea

Thanks for replying I don't know if I have it I'm 17 and I have never had any symptoms up till two months ago I started getting random diarrhea and wind but that's all my symptoms I don't know if it's a nervous stomach or ibs thanks

Have you perhaps spoken to a pharmacist? Does it happen after you eat certain foods? May be worth keeping a good diary for a bit?

You need to go to a doctor to see if you have it or not, you can't diagnose this yourself.

Go get yourself checked and don't listen to what anyone tells you on here until you do.

Not trying to diagnose just when I went and spoke to my doctor they asked me to keep a food diary so thought that may help

When you do visit the doctor...make sure they do the tests etc...

I agree you shouldn't self-diagnose as it could be a warning sign for something else...

however...

if you keep a food diary it is likely to be helpful, otherwise dr is likely to send you away asking you to keep a food diary!

I get nausea, cramps, constipation, lots of wind and sometimes loose stools but that isn't very often. You just need to see a doctor and explain your symptoms.

IBS has a very broad set of symptoms. its basically a diagnosis you get when you have been through the entire health care system and they still dont know whats wrong with you.

i myself get terrible bloating, fevers, Nausea keeps me awake most nights till sunrise and a bad food intolerance. i can eat around 10 things, and even then im not right.

Go to the doctor if your unsure if there is something wrong with you, as you can't diagnose IBS yourself, and a lot of doctors even get it wrong.
