How long did it take to get results from The scan?

It took just over 3 weeks for the letter to come through after my CT Virtual colonoscopy - maybe the longer it takes is good news? In general far more tests will come back normal (or with an IBS diagnosis) rather than anything more severe. Hope this helps to calm your anxiety - probably best to try to concentrate on day to day tasks rather than trying to look ahead and second guess. Good luck.

If it's any help I phoned my GP and asked them if they could get the results quicker. They were very good and had mine in less than a week over the phone then got a letter later from the hospital. Best of luck x
