Hi there I'm looking for a bit of advice sometimes when I go to toilet I have blood on my Toilet paper it's not a huge mount it's just a little bit also feel like there somthing just at my anus a dunno iff it could just my a tear would you feel Tumor ? I'm a 25 year old male

Hi Andy, I shouldn't worry too much about a bit of blood,unless it's a regular thing,then you should see your GP. As for feeling somthing in your anus,if your straining to go to the loo,that could be the start of a prolapse bowel.

This happened to me a few weeks back and I asked my hubby to take a look,and he said there was like a bit of a bulge there,but when he pushed slightly it went back.

Do not strain to go for a BM,and it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out with your GP.

Hello, I know seeing blood is shocking and worrying. Any straining can irritate the bowel lining and cause a hemeroid, sometimes they are internal and cause pain, other times if the are low in the anus they can come outside your body through the anus. They bleed and if just inside can cause pressure and a feeling like you need to have a BM. There are medications for hemeroids. However saying that, until you know for sure you will be worried, and that in itself will cause IBS to be worse. Just make an spot to see doctor, that way you know what your dealing with. Most people with IBS have had some bleeding at one time or another, some a little, some more.

If the blood is bright red it's probably hemorrhoids.
