I am having this heart palpitation after eating a meal from the last 7 months now. Cardiologist checked my heart (ECG,ECHO, HOLTER) everything came fine. Went to gut specialist and he requested a gastroscopy to see my oesophagus ,stomach and duodenum.
Went for gastroscopy today and the oesophagus and stomach is totally fine (no ulcer or anything) but the endoscopist couldn't find duodenum :O. She was saying there must be an unsual anatomy and told me that specialist will look into this. I don't know if she was a newbie OR there is something going on with me.
Has anyone come accross something like this?

You have to remember that the person doing the scan is an ographer, and the person who diagnosed and interprets is an olagist. They are two different degrees, the Olagist more qualified and experienced, this is why the ographer is not supposed to tell you what they think the results are. Wait for your appointment with your consultant, and I am sure your duodenum will turn up.
Hi, I have suffered with the same problem after eating for many years, think it is the vagus nerve connection that goes through the stomach and controls the heartbeat. Just careful not to overload stomach and don’t worry too much.
