Regarding Gerd's Reflux and sore throat and all the medications which have not helped him, I had similar problems some years ago and after a hospital endoscopy it was found that I had an Underactive Thyroid. Since going onto Levothyroxine I have had no problem with reflux. Worth mentioning to his G.P.
