Buscopan does it cause diarrhoea??

Does buscopan help or cause diarrhoea? I alwYs thought it was meant to help but read another old post that says it causes it??

Hi Montycat - I don't know if Buscopan causes diahorrea, but you can look up for the nhs leaflet on busopan for side effects. Drugs.com will have a list of side effects to if you type in the drug name. I have found Colofac very good - it targets the colon muscle and helps the spasm and pain. I've had tests for food intolerances, and the condition has improved, but still take fibregel which helps absorb the water from the intestines back into the poo so it's comfortable. I went to Alphega chain for the tests but you might find you can have tests on NHS in your area. The test was new and took a few minutes, with a detailed case history and gives results for 0ver 65 foods - it was amazing. The test is linked to NHS,
