Does mebeverine give you diarrhoea

Hi all, just wanted to know does mebeverine give you the trots and if so how long for ?

No it doesnt. Ive been taking it for years now it helps your digested food move through you bowel. It helps myIBS.

Hi Shaun, I don’t have diahorrea with merbeverine, it might be that it’s new to you and your body may need to adjust,try and stay with it for a couple of days and see how you do, if it doesn’t agree with you maybe your doctor can try something different. This IBS lark is all trial and error I’m afraid. I’ve had it years and still can’t work it out. Take care

Been on it this is my third day now I think it’s doing alright. Although still a bit loose Have to have some bloods taken next Wednesday as go wants to see if I have coeliac disease

Hi Shaun, not so good still, but you always brighten my day with you infectious wit, you are a star. I’ve steered clear of cheese and cream, so hopefully my very angry stomach will forgive me and give me a break. Just spoke to doctor, he’s giving me more antibiotics which is gonna upset my stomach again, so damned if I do and damned if I don’t. Still shit happens🥴glad the meds are working and hopefully you’ll have a good result from you blood test. Have a good day sweetie
