Berberine for IBS??

Hi, I was curious as to wether anyone has taken the natural supplement, Berberine. I understand it helps a lot with intestinal support and digestion, so I was wondering if anyone felt effects from it for their IBS? Anything would much appreciated, thanks!

Hi i havent heard of this to be honest, but having a mother of all flare up this week, which driving me insane, I wouldnt mind giving it a go. To be honest I would take cyanide at the moment lol. Years ago the doctor put me on Aloe Vera but at the time although that helped it was absolutely vile tasting. Brought it back to me the other day after being bitten by a bug, a client I was visiting rubbed neat aloe vera on the bite and the itching and bite died down within minutes, this was a cutting from a plant she has in the kitchen and chops bits off and puts in the fridge, the relief is instantaneous. Think I might go back to trying it for my gut.

Yes, I've been taking aloe vera recently, just starting out with small amounts, but it's been helping a lot of bloating for me and helping me pass gas, so that is definitely helpful!
