Hi I was diagnosed with IBS IN 2013 , I have periods where I'm absolutely fine & then it flares up! I suddenly need to get to the toilet quick ! . For the last two weeks after I have eaten at lunchtime within an hour I urgently need the toilet ! I'm fine after that , any one have any ideas as to why this is happening or if it happens to them ? Thanks

yes it happens to me as well intermittently usually triggered by stress or eating things that don't agree with me. I had an accident the other day after I had been to a job interview. I had been stressed about it it had gone ok and I had been on the way home after I had been for coffee and cake and I was near home needed the loo and couldn't hold on and had an accident but thankfully I wasn't too far from home where I got in the bath and cleaned up and put a wash on as planned.

that's the thing with afternoon job interviews the stress builds all day and I had found myself annoyed at stupid things like at the cafe on the way home and a kid was whining I was stressed after the interview and had thought to myself angrily Fing shut up!

its not just you who it happens to so you're far from alone.
