Whats the best way to lose my belly? My body is fine but my stomach is fat. Ive gone from 30w to 32w because of my belly!

Im on a massage training course tomorrow and i cant fit into my old pants and ive realised, its true what people have said - my stomach looks pregnant.

Hi there,

I am similar!

maybe you don't need to lose weight, you could potentially have inflammation in tummy due to ibs/candidia/other. At least, this has been the case for me. Dietary changes, supplements and anti fungals are all helping. I went to a nutritionalist who did tests and is helping me work it all out.

Perhaps go to doc or make appoint with nutritionist to get solid medical advice.

All the best

I stopped eating meat for ethical reasons and I had lost the taste of it tbh, and lost my belly in a week or two!! I was amazed.

I also cut out refined sugar, and use honey if I bake now. Sugar does not help my ibs.

I still eat lots of fish and occasionally an organic chicken.

Good luck

What I found was one of the best ways was to eat as cleanly as I could; fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh meat and especially fish and try and walk as much as you can. But I have the same problem, people say my stomach looks 5 months pregnant sometimes. It will take work and time but don't give up :-)

Welcome to the ibs belly!! I have lost 12lbs , in the morning my tummy looks almost normal. By bed time I have the stomach that I had 37 years ago when I was 6 months pregnant!! I have been following the low FOdMAP diet for about 10 weeks, taken a high strength probiotic for 4 weeks. Seeing a naturopath today for other help.

Mebeverine and colpermin actually sent me into awful pain, so no more drugs for me. The trouble is that with ibs there is no "one size fits all" fix. Everyone's symptoms are different, and the remedies are different for us all.

All the very best with this one - I wish that my trouser size were the only problem!
