I have colongenous microscopic colitis. I am gluten free and lactose free and now I am going on a fodmap diet. Has anyone else got this problem? Nothing seems to work. I have a few days fairly normal and then bad diarrhea for a few days.

ibs is indeed a strange malady... and what you are describing is not at all unusual... there are many times that NOTHING works like its 'supposed to'.... Sometimes diets or medications will work for a time...then BAM... back to the old problems again...

I am still waiting for the results of my CT scan... have been tired, weak, and really achey (mildly so) in my pelvic area... Just don't understand ANY of it... Passed all my comprehensive blood tests. My daughter thinks I should be tested for thyroid problems... SO...maybe I'll do that next.

I just want to wish you good luck... and to say "I understand."
