Back Spasms

Hi there, When I swallow food sometimes my upper back between shoulder blades spams or twinges. I had an endoscopy and ultrasound last week. Doctor said I have acid reflux and small hiatus hernia. I also have terrible health anxiety and now just started anti depressants. Has anyone else suffered from back spasms and twinges when swallowing food

Your symptoms sound exactly like acid reflux and the hiatus hernia you have been diagnosed with, so please stop worrying. I have both of these ailments too, or rather had.

To help with your acid reflux I would recommend cutting out all fat and vinegar and eating small meals. Also if you are overweight this can sometime cause pressure on your stomach causing the reflux. Do not eat oranges, but make sure you have a daily apple. I do hope this helps.
