Spasms I. Stomach and back pain
Absolutely.... in fact I have had it for three days mainly left side at waist level
Hi, yes I did have bad pains above navel round to back right hand side. Dr sent me for a MRI , it showed I have a slightly inflammed gallbladder and a tiny cyst near the duct. Have been controlling this by not eating fatty foods or things that upset tummy. Dont eat after 7pm, I always have porridge for breakfast and bowels are regular. Been controlled for over 8 weeks now as dont want op to remove gallbladder at the moment. This does not mean to say you have the same problem as pain affects everyone in different ways, could be just what your eating. Hope all goes well for you.
Hi l to have small gb cyst had it for about 5yrs had regular scans for couple yrs they said not grown so now just leave it. I get a pain about 3 inches down under right breast! I always wonder if this is because of cyst? Try not to eat to much fat also. I don't want it out for fear it causes more bowel problems!
Hi, juniepoonie, yes my pain is in same place as yours, not had a bad attack for about 8 weeks now maybe longer. I am watching what I eat fat wise and it's working at the moment. Nice to know you have not had any problems for for 5 years, fingers crossed I can do the same. Any change please let me know. X
Yes but after years of suffering this and other things pointing to IBS it was found I have serius problems in my spine with several trapped nerves .This can cause stamach problems and affect bladder and bowels .The first pain Iever had wrapped itself around my rib cage l side .
It is worrth getting your back checked
Interesting. I’ve had a pain 2” above my naval for 18 years. 8 weeks ago I started getting dreadful sciatica on my right side (buttock to ankle). Also, slight issue with peeing (as in I sometimes have little mishaps). Doctor says there is no connection between any of this......Ill monitor for a couple of weeks and if no better go back to the docs. Other than the above, I’m actually quite fit and healthy (although, some readers may not believe this.......)
Have you been to the GP about these symptoms, have they carried out necessary tests (stool sample and blood tests) and have they diagnosed IBS? Do you have any bowel trouble or are these normal?
