Spasms
I have the same here and there not sure what's going on I have thinner poo and more Bloaded and more gas as well . I take Metamucil so I don't get constipated
Hi there I too have this problem and my doctor has prescribed an anti depressant. It is trial and error on these. I find a warm bath helps as does a hot water bottle.
With IBS everyone is different but certain foods bring on my attacks so you could look into that too. Hope this helps you. I haven’t found many people with this particular form of cramping or maybe they are not brave enough to reach out!
Hi! Possibly a tear or internal piles, either can be caused by constipation and/or diarrhoea. A tear can be extremely painful for hours after a BM...doctor should be able to tell you with a quick exam...
Warm baths can help
Good luck!
I get that symptom too and spasms all over. I think it’s part of IBS and bad contractions in the colon. I don’t really know what to do
for it either besides antispasmodics and watching what I eat. Hope you get some relief. I’m in pain as I’m writing this.
Hi, you might want to check out these two conditions:

My husband has the second one occasionally, not lasting very long. But he most certainly does NOT have IBS.

Hi I have the same thing and no doctor could give me an answer for years but finally a doctor told me I have Levator ani syndrome , it has nothing to do with ibs .
There is no test for lavator ani syndrome
I went to a pelvic doctor and hot baths will help and also sitting on a tennis ball , the ball has to be on the rectum , then move around while sitting on the ball , this will massage the area and stop the cramp , also these cramps seem to happen at night and will wake you up .
for anyone else, like me, searching out answers to this at a much later time… I find when my rectum starts spasming, the only way I can stop it is to stop eating so there’s nothing going through for some time
I don’t know if this is the same thing as anyone else has, I’ve had massive trouble trying to find anyone with the same problem. Sitting on hot or cold things also helps, but unless I stop the food going through… the spasms are going to be triggered again.
