Stomach pain with diverticulitis

Hi, does anyone suffer bad stomach ache with diverticulitis and sickness, I'm very fed up with feeling rubbish. Don't know what to eat. I found out that potato give me a bad stomach too does anyone else have that problem?

Also I forgot I get pain under my right rib.

Can't really help yet although I can say I had mashed potato yesterday and have had stomach ache all night!

I also get a pain under my right rib, I had my gall bladder removed 2years ago and have had IBS since then cannot eat anything with fructose or lactose in . I eat a lot of potatoes as they don,t usually me ,but had some New potatoes last week and had stomach pains for two days I think they are harder to digest.i cannot eat a jacket potatoe though ,I wondered if it was because the sugar or starch cannot escape where as in boiling potatoes it loses some of the starch in the water. I don't know if that makes sense but I have tried not eating the skins and i am still doubled up with pain.

Hi, all the time, however had to cut out gluten and dairy due to not being able to tolerate it, rash,etc....however lost loads of weight. But be careful with pain and sickness with diverticlar disease, If you have a high temperature it could be an infection in the bowel. Just mention it to your Gp next time.
