a lot of sufferers get this, a lot of it is caused by wind pain which is why your doctor is saying buscapan. Try looking at diet, as foods high in fodmap (that ferment in gut) like onions, beans, garlic, all cause wind. Google fodmap foods and try to avoid or limit in diet. I love onion but it kills me.
sorry to hear of your pain. Have you had an ultrasound to rule out gallstones? They can cause pain in the upper right quadrant. I recently found out I have multiple gallstones, although my pain usually is more centred and not that frequent.
hi I was diagnosed also exactly the same have been on Coveselam for about 8 years now .. same upper quadrant rib pain no remedy for me … all tests clear I just monitor with dr now once a year .. discomfort constant but always hard to explain to anyone the discomfort. As it doesn’t hurt just uncomfortable. If I push on my lower rib or whilst walking the discomfort subsides but it is there 24/7 .. dr never is overly concerned .. thanks Victoria
This is wat happens to me not really pain just a achy uncomfortable feeling all day everyday usually worse before and after a bowel movement
