Zytiga & BAT
I am currently on
Zytiga
after Bicalutamide failed after 5 years, Would like to try BAT but not sure whether I should continue on
Zytiga
during BAT or discontinue until PSA goes up. Currently Testosterone is zero and PSA 4.5 and dropping. Prostate removed 20 years ago.

Decision Xtandi or radiation
The other option is replace
Zytiga
/Prednisone with Xtandi which I resist since Z/P is controlling all the other lesions and Xtandi can be used later if neecessary. OK, so its radiation or drug change. What do you guys think? I see MO Wednesday to make decision.

Darolutamide failing after 2 years. Any success if I switch to Xandi or Zytiga or do I need to move to Pluvicto.
Dx 2018. PSA 16. Been on Orgovyx. Started Second line (Darolutamide) two years ago when PSA started to rise. PSA rose over the last 5 months from 0.021 (August) to 0.48 I had a few bone mets and several lymph nodes when dx. Trying to find other treatments since I'm running out of Standard

Prostate cancer but normal PSA?
This is after 2 months of diet an supplements, 1 month after my first hormone injection and 3 weeks of
Zytiga
. Anyone have any experience with correlating a "normal" PSA with a positive cancer diagnosis? I am puzzled about the ramifications and implications. thanks

Possible Cure
After 2 years of Lupron/
Zytiga
, everything has shrunk or disappeared via PSMA PET. Everything has been good,(but with med side-effects) but with no measureable testosterone or PSA.

Feeling very hopeless at this point.
He has been on doxetaxol, 2 times,
zytiga
, one clinical trial with keytruda, no result other than psa rising. Now on another clinical trial regeneron, now psa 571, scans were stable but now due again next week. On top of this, due to Xegeva, he has developed jaw necrosis.

Still true that using same scan type is preferable to changing scan type?
He's been stable since chemo with his current Eligard & Xgeva treatment--see full Profile for his record of Lupron, radiation,
Zytiga
(failed), Docetaxel at year five, followed by lifelong Eligard and quarterly Xgeva.

Extreme sweats will they diminish; Zitiga is it worth it
Is the
Zytiga
with 5mg Prednisone worth it considering the side effects and, if I am reading things correctly, only extends Lupron effectiveness only about 6 months? Thanks for any insights.

8/4/23 Update questions for MO
To review, after 19 months on Lupron,
Zytiga
, prednisone, PSA increased on 1/23 to 0.253, then 0.309 on 2/21. Plarify scan showed only one active site in hip which was radiated. 4/4 PSA dropped to 0.24 which indicated the lesion was knocked out and I would be hormone sensitive and stay on

Spot Radiation before Pluvicto?
Failed
Zytiga
. It’s that Paul McCartney line in “Yesterday” “I’m not half the man I used to be.” (Only he'll always be the whole man to me.) So what to do next? Our local oncologist first floated the possibility of spot radiation of that T12 tumor. Mr.

How high must the PSA levels be before cancer can be seen in a CT scan?
Following the end of my treatment (radiation, lupron,
Zytiga
, prednisone) with curative intent back in May, my PSA has risen from undetectable to 0.09. As discussed on another thread this is not alarming at this stage since I still have a prostate as I never had surgery to remove it.

Prostate cancer morphed into NEPC
After 13 years of various therapies, the last few years included Lupron/Eligard,
Zytiga
, Xtandi. This kept the PSA low (around .2) and kept my MO happy. In 2021, I asked my MO if I should be getting a scan. He said with the PSA that low, nothing would show up.
