It's been 4 years since I have had severe anxiety but this past week was rough. How much does going off birth control affect anxiety?
My old gynecologist had told me she could prescribe me
Zoloft
if I decided I wanted/needed it. I called and made a new appointment with a new gynecologist and the front desk told me she would not prescribe anxiety medication. Guess it's time for a psychiatrist.

Anxiety and SSRI's - Anyone better off without SSRI's?
I have tried to change medications twice (Paxil to Lexapro and then Paxil to
Zoloft
). Each time my anxiety got way worse!!! I'm still trying the switch to
Zoloft
and it is going poorly. Anyone else have such problems?

Twitching knees
I explained my symptoms and he said my knee looked like it had Pattela tracking disorder, but he was more concerned about getting my anxiety under control,so he switched my meds to Prozac after 10 years on
Zoloft
. He took xrays and the report showed arthritis. I went a orthopedic dr.

My exhusband who has been on this journey for 4 years was diagnosed with PSP in March and after many long hospitalizations for anxiety, depression, freezing gait, urinary issues etc the drugs settled upon seem to be Sinemat, Ativan,
Zoloft
and some other drugs.

I've been taking
zoloft
for 5 years. It's a new opportunity for me and I really hope to keep the job for me. Any inputs please? What do I need to know or do?

Did anyone on
Zoloft
have vision problems like blotchy and blurry vision. I am on 100 mg. My PA said I can reduce the dosage or stop the drug. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Treatment Options for Hot Flashes
My oncologist is suggesting either Megace or
Zoloft
to treat the hot flashes. I would really like to understand the use of either with advanced prostate cancer and treating hot flashes. Thanks, in advance, for your input. John

Late 20s, At the End of My Rope
I just got a prescription for
Zoloft
from my doctor, but I'm afraid to take it. I'm afraid I haven't tried the CBT long enough, or worked hard enough. But I'm so exhausted, and even when I use CBT techniques, the fear seems more logical.

Lexapro or zoloft
I'm afraid
zoloft
might not get rid of the suicidal ideation but it could be better for everything else. What do people think. Is
zoloft
worth the risk? Anyone have suicidal ideation on
zoloft
?

Progressively worse stimulant side effects
Her only response was to offer a script for
Zoloft
. After the fourth day of meltdowns we decided to take her off the medication and see if that calmed things down. The meltdowns stopped for two weeks but of course the ADHD symptoms are causing her distress.

It was perfect when zoloft worked for me but time is over
When I was taking
Zoloft
25 mg, it was a perfect time. But after 1,5 year it stopped working for me. Other SSRIs - fluvoxamine and paroxwtine - seems like I have tolerance to them too, because the are don't work, then anafranil - again, doesn't work.

Irritability with Intuniv?
My 10 yo was started on
Zoloft
25mg about 6 weeks ago and we saw an improvement in mood but decrease in energy. Intuniv 1mg was added at bedtime about 2 weeks ago and I'm beginning to notice more irritability and outbursts. Has anyone had this experience with Intuniv?

I just can't take it anymore. I want to live but it's too damn painful.
In fact, I just started
zoloft
4 days ago and everyday i feel worse than the day before. I know it takes time but with everyday getting worse what do I do? I've been on 20 meds, I know the drill. What do I do while I'm waiting for relief? Am I ever going to get relief? Is this all there is is?

Strattera for mood and ADHD
My son (16) has been on
Zoloft
since December, we decided 6 months on the medication was necessary as we figured out what what going on with him. A few months later he was diagnosed with ADHD. We have been told that Strattera is a drug that can help with both ADHD and mood.

Thought I was figuring things out...
So I've been on 200mg of sertraline (
Zoloft
) for 3-4 months and the only change felt there is less emotion, versus feeling better. I used to be depressed with moments or even days of moderate happiness here and there and moments or days of deeper depression here and there.
