Antidepressants for ADHD and aggression
Hello everyone! I just wanted to start by saying how grateful I am to be part of this community. The connections have been a saving grace for me. I am also wondering if anyone has trialed antidepressant medication for their child with ADHD/ODD/anxiety. Focalin XR has helped but only mildly. My 7 year

Newly Diagnosed (ish) and lost!
Hi everyone, I’m a 30-year-old female, and for about the past 10 years I’ve been struggling with what I thought was anxiety and depression. I went to therapy on and off, and last year was prescribed Lexapro for anxiety. It seemed like it maybe did a little bit for me, but it didn’t address a lot of the

Return to "normal" Day 3.
Well, good news everyone. I didn't throw up before work today, in fact, I ate my normal breakfast (eggs over easy and sausage). Didn't even have to think about taking a Xanax. Even better, this afternoon could have been very stressful to me because of some extra work that was not foreseen. However, I

Return to "normal" day 2.
Okay all. Today was my second day back at work after my extended leave to deal with the anxiety and panic attacks. Definitely went better than yesterday. Yes, I still threw up before work (one of my most common nervous reactions). I still felt lots of anxiety and slightly panicky, albeit nowhere near

Update on my attempt to return to "normal"
After several weeks off, and only one therapy appointment, I returned to the office today. I'll be honest, the morning was horrible. I woke up already panicked (as I knew I would), and throwing up. Took a Xanax which took its time kicking in. I was still experiencing a ton of anxiety when I arrived at

Xanax withdrawal causing my T. Stops completely when I take it!
Advice and support? Hello. My tinnitus started one month ago. First in my left ear and now both (mainly still the left). Mainly a low hiss, but sometimes a tone. I have had two hearing tests and have no hearing problems. My tinnitus was mainly with me, but I had some days when it disappeared completely

Intermittent tinnitus- Is it sleep? Alcohol? Blood pressure? Medication? Anyone else have this? It's not hearing related.
So my tinnitus started 3 weeks ago. It was persistent 24/7 and hell on earth for those 3 weeks. It has now become intermittent comes one day and gone the next. I've discovered that not sleeping well and alcohol are two triggers. Does anyone else experience this? I've had my ears tested twice and no

Xanax
Hi I have taken xanax for a few months at 3 times a day. .25 mg each time. It will definitely calm down your inner nerves and relax you. I do not have side effects from that amount. .

Hello :)
Hello all, I am new here and wanted to say hi. I had an undiagnosed heart issue a few months back that felt like a heart attack. After getting surgery I started to have increased anxiety and hypochondria. I have usually taken Xanax for the anxiety but my doctor didn't want me taking it every day so

I'm new to this group, and just wanted to introduce myself. I am 44, and a long-time depression sufferer, which has recently gotten worse. I've suffered panic attacks while driving for several years and I avoid driving. Last month, I started getting panic attacks in other situations, mostly while going

absolutely losing my mind in Perimenopause
Hello all.. I suffer with horrific panic attacks due to perimenopause. To put in simple terms, I have an invisible trigger for my panic attacks; my hormone spikes and drops. I can be sitting just fine and BAM, shaking, gasping awfulness. GYN put me on birth control and its helped slightly.. took them

I have been in a huge funk lately and can’t do what I rly need to do. Am I depressed or just burnt out? Antidepressants or change ADHD meds?
Lately my college classes have drained all my energy, and I feel so burnt out. I keep pushing everything off until I have no choice, and the only choice left is to push myself really hard to get my assignments or studying done in time. I am below the passing grade in one class, and my exam is on Tuesday

Orlando,Fl
Has anyone worked with a good child psychologist in Orlando,Fl ? My nearly 8year old son has severe ADHD and has been having difficulty with feelings of anger and opposition. A lot of his anger is demonstrated at school and he is subsequently frequently in trouble. He is currently taking Focalin XR in

Anxiety and panic
My anxiety and panic are becoming relentless ER trip after ER trip and always just ‘in my head’ I get 1 little thought in my head and it just unravels until I’m in the ER thinking I’m dying. I’ve been on Xanax and ssris that haven’t been working so it’s a new pill script everytime I see the Psychiatrist

Hello, I have taken Xanax for 30 years and have been off now for 1 year and 1 month. There are many side effects. But my worst time is trying to sleep or rest. If I fall asleep the very second I awake I have to get up and walk, back and forth and can’t get relaxed. I think of my younger days and past
