post surgery stitches
Hi all 👋 I’m about 4 weeks post op from my diagnostic laparoscopy and recovery seems to be going well so far but my stitches seem to be taking ages to dissolve! I have the dissolvable stitches which apparently should have gone in a couple weeks but they are holding strong and don’t want to come away

Back to work
Hi everyone, might be a stupid question but I just don’t know what to do. I had a salpingectomy on Tuesday and I am potentially back to work on Sunday (Christmas Eve) I am a hairdresser and it’s mainly blow drys and it’s 4 hours. My employer is fine if I am off but I’m putting pressure on myself. I

My mirena coil came out anyone else this happened to? It only lasted two days and I had it under general anaesthesia. I'm annoyed now 😤 I didn't see it come out. I have endometrium hyperplasia anyone else with this?

My Heart Hurts
Figuratively and literally. My father was arrested in 2001 after years of m0lesting me - I was 4. I've had a restraining order since then. Regardless, he was deported to his mother country upon his release, so I know there is no chance I'll run into him again, anyway. Still. There is so much unresolved

I had a pharyngeal pouch repair on Wednesday, they put 3 staples in my throat to close it, has anyone else had this done, and how long was it to feel ok again ?

My nose bleed story!
Hi All, I promised to post a quick update so I’m doing that now. I had four nose bleeds in five days. They just came out of nowhere but weren’t too dramatic just a drip each second. The last one worried me before my surgery appointment was due because it lasted for 20 hours and just wouldn’t stop.

MichaelJH - An Update
As many of you will know I have been fighting an issue with macerated
wounds
on my remaining foot for a year. It is relevant to the forum as I have underlying severe PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease), a circulatory condition.

Provera update
So I'm on 10mg of provera daily since the 15th of September and I've been bleeding continuously but I have now stopped bleeding since Wednesday. It's like a different world when you aren't bleeding! I've done some research and many women refer to the first period on provera as a "clear out" as the drug

Woot, 2 year update, covid pneumonia
Hey folks, Just a quick post. I'm hitting 5 mile runs now and am doing strength training on my legs to improve my endurance. I still have some issues with my neck, but its gradually improving, lets just hope I do not put it out for a third time! I'm now hitting more challanging climbs, and have walked

bleeding & pain 5 weeks after laparoscopy
My
wounds
look great, no swelling or redness around incision sights. I feel so fed up :( I’ve been to the doctors & they’ve given me antibiotics for ‘suspected bacterial vaginal infection’…. But swabs haven’t come back yet? I’m such a worry wart which doesn’t help.

Abdominal ultrasound
Hiya,Would just like people's views/experiences on if endo will be picked up on an ultrasound or the abdomen. I've had pelvic mri before which picked up endo everywhere and I'm awaiting surgery (endo, hysterectomy and bowel). I've not got abdomen pains so they've got me down for an ultrasound. I feel

painful hands, is it carpel tunnel syndrome?
For the past couple of months I have had painful hands (right more than the left but I am right handed) and as my appointment with my rheumatologist was well overdue I managed to get an appointment last week. I have been on 0.5mg of Pred for the last few months and generally very well until this

permutate ejaculation after circumcision
I'm not masturbating and even does not touch my penis because my
wounds
are not healed yet. I have never experienced such situation before Circumcision. I used to watch porn for hours. What is the solution for this? Have anyone experienced this issue?
