Vitamin K advice
I’m looking to take Vit K (I think it is) to help with my osteoporosis. Where is best to get it from and optimal dose please. I’m in the U.K. I don’t take osteoporosis drugs as didn’t agree with me. Waiting on a repeat dexa scan in November. Thankyou

Energy back finally
it’s been a long haul. I am happy to say that after much dreaded fatigue, off and on when tapering ,I am finally feeling well with energy to live a normal style life. Adrenals were acting up a lot when trying to reduce from 3 down. Now at 2.25. Question , does this mean adrenals are functioning good

Indapamide with levothyroxine?
ShouldI take it at night with the Ramipril (and other supplements such as Bcomplex and
vitamin
D/
K
? (Lunchtime isn’t a massively practical option and I’d prefer to avoid taking it then if I can as work can be chaotic and I’m more likely to miss my dose) . Thanks

Best Vit K2 +Vit D3?
Hi. I've been reading here about vits K2 +D3, and am keen to try it as I don't want to take Alendronic acid. However, there's so many "makes"! I'm in the UK. I know you can't advertise but what should I be looking out for? Mk7 for vit K is the thing, containing natto I see from some posts, but what is

Why you should NOT supplement high-dose D3
If you're baffled about how to get enough vitamin D when not exposed to regular sunlight, try supplementing raw cold-pressed cod liver oil instead along with
vitamin
K

Just a thought... Parsley to cancel out alcohol when on warfarin?! :D
Put very simply...they say that on warfarin if you have foods
rich
in
vitamin
K
then your blood gets "thicker" and if you drink your blood gets "thinner"...so with that in mind...would a few sprigs of parsley swallowed alongside my glass(es) of wine balance everything out?!

We typically know how important
vitamin
K
is for bone health, but … [3]: “Anticarcinogenic activities of
vitamin
K
have been observed in animal and cell studies.” “During a median follow-up time of >10 y, 1755 incident cancer cases occurred, of which 458 were fatal.

Best podcast and book resources I've found
It is 8-10 servings of fruits/vegetables a day, eliminating sodas and caffeine (this I've already done in the last couple of months), minimize red meats, minimize dairy and take calcium citrate instead, and supplement with 1 to 5mg
vitamin
K
, 300 to 900 mg/day of potassium bicarbonate, 400-600mg a day

Mother-in-law with EDS has very low Potassium readings
I also read that some say that the symptoms of EDS can be treated as a nutritional deficiency and supplements like
Vitamin
K
,
Vitamin
C and D should be taken - can anyone suggest a regime that would help?

Have taken the plunge full Thyroid test!
Hi After reading many posts on here regarding Thyroid testing I have just received a full Thyroid Function test from Blue Horizon. My Thyroid has not been medicated correctly since I started taking 100mg Levothyroxine 4 yrs ago. Everytime I have a test the parameters seem to change from one test to

Vitamin deficiency and muscle loss
what about
Vitamin
A, B6, E and
K
? I believe they too are fat soluble. I presume those too would be low. do vitamin supplements in tablet form work ? Or do I need to look at other ways to boost those vitamins.

Just diagnosed with Osteoporosis, rock and a hard place...
That means no food high in
vitamin
K
. I'm also disabled in my right leg and hip due to a non-union fracture of my femur from a near fatal car accident(it's 1/2" shorter than the left). I also have moderate osteoarthritis in both knees and shoulders. So, I'm a 51 year old mess, lol.
