Courage

There seems to be a misconception that it takes courage to make the rational choices I make with regards to my self treatment.

I am guessing it is a projection of others fears which I do not have.

It only took about 6 months for me to firmly establish that those in the medicial field were very comfortable in failing to help people heal. If fact, take great pride in themselves when their work does not justify pride. This is not limited to just B12. Perhaps it stems from respect of those in the medicial field out of fear. Those that make money in medicine are not the most important people in my treatment. In fact they are not anymore important than anyone else in the world. Although people seem to value them for reasons unknown.

I separate the GP that typically does not read and comprehend a simple flow chart from the bureaucrats that approve current treatment protocols. How anyone trusts them after minimum study I do not understand.

I do well designed trials and evaluate. I am not working off the cuff and just experimenting. Perhaps it is again projection in that others believe experimenting is the limit of my abilities.

Hi WIZARD6787,

I concur, it does not take courage, it takes common sense. Yes, part of the design of any experiment, is looking at the parameters, adjusting variables and recording results. It is well thought out, planned, with observations and conclusions.

Some of us are critical thinkers. Engineer is derived from Latin, to devise and cleverness.

Hey Narwhal,

I see it as cognitive ability rather than common sense.

This came to me from people saying book smart but no common sense. Intellectual ability does not preclude cognitive ability nor does it always exist in tandem.

Crilicial thing demands facing when something is not working as predicted and understanding that means the prediction is incorrect. From there it may be possible to find a solution.

Well! I for one have been so appreciative that you are sharing your discoveries. Thank you. We have very little else that we can trust as far as treatment and knowledge available with this condition and that is blatantly clear. I have come to the realization very early on that we are pretty much on our own and if we want a life of any value back that we need to find that ourselves. I am always keen to hear how you are doing and thinking of how it may be of value for me to apply to my trials. I don't wish to be running behind my symptoms. I wish to find my balance to run ahead of them. So thank you again for your generosity xxx

To be clear I in no way was being dismissive of others fear. I was stating that it is not mine.

I nor anyone else understands fear.
