A positive tale...so far
Hi all, I wanted to share a positive story of B12 deficiency diagnosis and treatment. My GP started me on loading doses in mid December after a serum B12 result of 202. Since then I've had every blood test under the sun which have all showed normal. Meanwhile he kept me on twice weekly injections after

Falling apart
Just had my first ever Medichecks results through and some (most) are pretty bad although all have that lovely green mark! All supplements were stopped about 6 weeks ago - long story but I've only just got round to doing the test. Test taken at 9am with just water beforehand and last dose of Levothyroxine

Osteopenia?
A chat with the doctor's nurse and the diagnosis of of osteopenia. Osteopenia is the first stage before osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is when you break bones by falling. I fall now and then but it's because of peroneal nerve entrapment. The peroneal nerve lifts my toes. Without its help I trip

Managing the Methylphenidate/Ritalin Shortage
Two or three times a day, I have been taking 20 mg immediate-release (not time released) methylphenidate for roughly 30 years. The last prescription I filled was at a Walgreens on March 15, 2024. It has been many years since I had a problem finding this pill. But now I am in the same boat with others

new test results and dose review advice.
Hello, I was started on levothyroxine by my GP on the 8th of January following test results that showed hypothyroidism. I had had symptoms for a while snd thought they were perimenopause, but my TSH levels were tested previously and came back ok (as shown by my July 2023 test results) T4 wasn’t tested

Updated labs, new doctor, but still a no on adjusting meds
I posted my labs back in December and contacted my doctor asking for an increase in levothyroxine to 100 instead of my current 75. I've talked with them twice about this, but they seem to think that since my TSH is in range that any med adjustments may make me have some heart issues. I recently changed

If taking B12 supps skew's PA Intrinsic Factor test, does it do the same for Gastric Parietal Cell AB too?
Hi Everyone, Im a bit out of my depth here and wondered if you could help please. Ive taken B Complex for nearly 25 years, I do wonder whether serum levels have always been scuppered, as I read again that to do a credible PA , MMA test I needed to be off B12 for minimum 4- 6 moths , possibly longer

Found some old results
From all my test results in my bio, it is known I am a poor convertor. From recommendations within the Group back in 2016 it was felt I needed to add some T3, which my Endo at the time wouldn't do because of my severe anxiety levels and he said it would have to be dosed very carefully. I started the
