Have taken the plunge full Thyroid test!
Hi After reading many posts on here regarding Thyroid testing I have just received a full Thyroid Function test from Blue Horizon. My Thyroid has not been medicated correctly since I started taking 100mg Levothyroxine 4 yrs ago. Everytime I have a test the parameters seem to change from one test to

Blood Test Results.
Some of you will remember it took me a month to get blood test results because in the first instance the Doc who arranged them wanted to give me the results. Made about 3 appointments which were cancelled because he changed his working days or whatever so eventually decided that just to get the results

Is it OK to take 2 different types of B1 at the same time? with HDT, B1 Therapy, etc.
I am currently having success with taking my sweet spot for TTFD (17.5mg) one day and my sweet spot for B1 hcl oral (1000mg) the next [Why both - TTFD elevates my mood* better than just B1 hcl oral]. Problem: I have a bad neck and I have to take more pain relievers on TTFD days. Which creates another

Help with next appointment following loading doses
Following a B12 of 194ng/L (187 - 883) in August, in Sept it was 208. MMA and Folate both “normal” but Homocysteine was slightly above range so I have been given 6 loading doses and daily Folic Acid. (I don’t have the actual results other than the B12). I didn’t have any really noticeable response

Am I going the wrong way? ⬇️
Morning lovely people, my GP lowered my Thyroxin to 75mg from 100mg a month ago in order to get my TSH levels up, which have barely moved in ten years and were at 0.01 for ages and ages. This happened after I was prescribed T3 by a specialist just over ten years ago who has now even struck off. I can

Sourcing
Ran out of ampoules several months ago and have had no success in finding a new source. As a consequence have been without for some time and can feel the familiar fog and fatigue getting worse. Any advice on where I can stock up so I can begin SI again? Or is it just dire now in terms of accessing b12

Hello, I’m still quite new to the group. History of hypothyroid 9 years. Less well controlled symptoms last 18+months. If I’m honest I’ve never felt the same since going through huge stress 5 years ago when my husband was having treatment for a serious illness right after I’d just had our second

b12 injections done but don’t feel better
hi I’ve recently been diagnosed with b12 deficiency, no idea why my if was fine apparently and no sign of coeliac. Dr doesn’t seem to want to look into it any further which is annoying. But I’m finished with my initial injections almost two weeks ago and I don’t feel any better. Is this normal?

b12 leg shakes/tremor
Hi All… I was diagnosed with a b12 deficiency (180) after a few months of hand/foot/leg/arm/face pains…and debilitating depression - that seems to be all over the place. I was told to do one shot and then supplements. I took matters into my own hands, and started getting weekly injections 3 weeks

An Enlightening Endocrine Adventure
After appeasing an endocrinologist worried about my suppressed TSH by a cunning lab trick -- withholding NDT for three days before going for the blood work -- I realized I needed to titrate up the dose. Many thanks to those who replied with their NDT experience. I cranked it up to nearly double what

B12 and Memory Loss Reversal? Is There Hope?
Hello all. My 70 year old mother was recently diagnosed with a B12 deficiency at 188 pg/ml. I brought her to a neurologist to get tested for dementia and Alzheimers, but the insurance won't cover an MRI until her B12 was tested. She has been showing memory deterioration for years, stopped driving about

Has anyone ever received diagnoses twice?
So long story short I was diagnosed with PA in the early 2000s. My records seemed to have disappeared with that doctor, so I don't have my official diagnoses. So after this long of fighting for proper treatment and for a B12 prescription I am know being told I need to prove I've been diagnosed with this
