Why don’t I notice an increase in energy? Have had three b12 injections.
Have very low b12 and iron. Had three injections of b12 and still don’t feel any better? Schedule is for 5 more shots then recheck levels. Taking iron supplements for 5 weeks now also. Thanks

What vitamin supplements to take alongside B12 injections?
Hi all - I'm currently on monthly injections for PA but still feel tired every morning even after a good nights sleep; low energy days; trouble focusing etc - sure you'll all be familiar with the symptoms! I've had several further blood tests and vitamin D and iron deficiencies have been identified

Consistent with b12 absorption problem?
Hi folks This is my b12 journey. For context, I have autoimmune under-active thyroid disease (diagnosed 2017) and eat a diet rich in vitamin b12. In July 2018 I felt unwell with symptoms of b12 deficiency and an active b12 test came back at 34.3. I went to my GP, but my total b12 was just in range

Has anyone looked at this? It says that B12 /injections / supplements can do harm after all. I hope it’s not true.

So for 8 years now my b12/folate has come back low ( e.g - b12 183 and folate 2.2 was my last one last September and it has been them sort of levels for quite a few years. I’ve had another blood test recently and my levels have gone up folate 6.5 and b12 217 (which I know is still low but I just can

I need B12 injections. Could any members tell me of their experience. My doctor has said my B12 is normal but it is almost out of range.

B12 conundrum
Hi all, read today on another platform that your symptoms when your b12 is low are the same as when your b12 is too high! To me this makes no sense at all, anyone with more b12 knowledge than me (wouldn't be hard) care to clear this up . Many thanks .

NICE Guidelines under review
Hi All It's been a while since I was on this lovely forum and I hope everyone is doing OK. I was discussing B12 with a GP contact the other day who 'specialises in Mental Health' and talked about the benefits of antidepressents. I said I wasn't a fan because it can be a way to avoid dealing with the

Iron metabolism in RLS : iron transporter ferroportin & Magnesium Malate
Editing to preface: The important subject of iron metabolism deserves a much better post than this. I apologize for how confusing, messy, and inconsistent it is. Please disregard it or take it with a grain of salt. I would erase it but out of respect for the comments made, I wont. I cut and pasted

Health food and Supplements-Warning!!
I just wanted to pass on a danger of too many vitamins, etc. My brother always worked out and took about 40 supplements a day as well as avoiding sugar, alcohol and anything that remotely seemed unhealthy. He is 3 1/2 years younger than me. All those supplements put him in Renal failure and on Dialysis

help with latest results please
I’ve just had my results back, I’m due to see my dr next week and would like to have some understanding of them. For reference I have Hashimotos, am gluten and dairy free, my vitamins and iron are ok after a long time working on them. I’m on 2 grains of Armour and have been on this dose for 6 weeks.

Feeling positive. Alflorex v Gut Powered
Hi all, first of all thanks for the suggestions to my first post, I realise that I am actually very lucky compared to the trauma some of you are experiencing, its so easy to feel alone in dealing with this. I am now feeling much more positive. Some of you recommended Alforex, so today I visited Holland

Eating Nuts for Heart Health
